I realized that I never wrote a post for Dad's alpaca scarf! It's probably the softest thing I've ever made... Dad brought this wonderful sport yarn home from Door County and requested a winter scarf.
It took a few tries to choose the pattern because of the light weight of the yarn and fuzziness, but it turned out well! Unfortunately, I cannot for the life of me find the pattern I used. If I stumble on it, I'll update this post. There are likely a number of patterns very much like this since it is diagonal rib. I hope to do something like this again - it seems really simple at first, but it finishes beautifully.
